This camp is a collaboration between Grace Communion Richardson , Trail Life Troop 147 , and AHG Troops TX1595 & TX0147 . Camp will run Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 6-8th (10-4pm). On Wednesday evening from 4-5pm we will have a show & tell event for family and friends to eat dinner together and see what their children have been doing. There will be 6 sessions of skills learning. The final list of skills we will have available to learn is still being determined, and you will receive an email inviting you to rank your child's preferences closer to the start of camp. Skills available in the past (not guaranteed again): Auto care, graphic design, sewing, wood working, cooking, soldering, and outdoor cooking are examples. We will have outdoor and indoor games, lunch and snacks, fun with friends and encouraging adults to give your child a memorable summer activity! Hey everyone, your opinion matters!! This is our yearly program planning session where we get to take the feedback and ideas, and channel those thoughts into shaping the coming year of events and activities. Come for the donuts, stay for the planning! Target Outcomes: - All Tuesdays WT Lesson Plans (review/tweak 2nd year from last session) - All Tuesdays Nav Trail Badge Plans - All Campout Dates and Locations (with an adult event planner as 'owner' for each) - Level Setting Roles and Responsibilities (RASCI matrix?) Agenda (6:30 - 8:00pm) - 5min (Connor): Intro and Wins from last year - 5min: Updated Org Chart & RASCI (Connor/Tom): Level set on leadership positions, roles and responsibilities - 5min: Youth Feedback Trends (Grayson): Prime everyone with feedback gathered from youth to better inform the rest of the session and decision making. - 20min: Campout Discussion (Don?, targeting 2nd weekend of each month, leverage membership land before considering state parks) - 40min: Breakout Groups (by program level: WT, Nav, Adv) - Nav/Adv focus on being more integrated/teaching dates with Woodlands, leading pre-meeting games and campout structure, etc. - 15min: Team Readouts/Review (1 rep from each, highlights from each group that others need to know, or any needs/blocks to ask for help in achieving goals, etc)
