Troop TX-147 is a ministry of Watermark Community Church. Our leadership team works together to provide a strong program, responsibly manage troop resources, and help Trailmen grow in faith, character, and leadership.

What Each Role Does
Senior Ministry Leader
The Senior Ministry Leader provides church-level authority for the Troop ministry and appoints the Troop Ministry Liaison. He ensures the Troop remains aligned with Watermark Community Church and Trail Life USA.
Troopmaster
The Troopmaster oversees the Troop’s program and direct-contact leaders. He also represents those leaders on the Troop Committee and helps ensure meetings and activities serve the boys well.
Treasurer
The Treasurer maintains the Troop budget and accounting records. He tracks income and expenses, provides financial reports, and helps ensure funds are handled responsibly.
Troop Ministry Liaison
The Troop Ministry Liaison oversees the Troop’s ministry, leadership, and activities on behalf of the church. He appoints and supports key Troop leaders while maintaining alignment between the Troop and Watermark.
Committee Chair
The Committee Chair leads the Troop Committee, which governs and supports Troop operations. He coordinates the adults responsible for administration, resources, events, and other behind-the-scenes needs.
Chaplain
The Chaplain incorporates the church’s faith tradition into the Trail Life program. He supports the spiritual formation of Trailmen and leaders through prayer, biblical teaching, and discipleship.
